It’s one of Southeast Michigan’s favorite traditions: The Huron-Clinton Metroparks fireworks displays, and it brings together so much fun and excitement. Tens of thousands of our neighbors gather under the stars to enjoy this celebration of our American Independence.
A Metroparks vehicle entry permit is required to enter any Metropark and is only $40 annually for regular admission or $10 daily.

Get ready for the annual Firecracker 5k, a favorite tradition in our community! Runners can participate in the 5k route, while kids can join in the fun with a free 200m dash (note: T-shirt and medal not included for the kids’ race).
Giving Back to Our Veterans, In honor of Independence Day, we’re proud to donate $5 from each registration fee to a local veterans’ organization of your choice from our provided list. This race is about honoring those who have served, and we’re committed to giving back to our heroes.
The event will kick off on July 4th in Parking Lot One next to Bishop Park.

Daily – 10am to 9pm
Known as one of the largest art fairs in the State of Michigan, attracts fine artists from across the state, region and nation to showcase their work, offering a local platform to expand community awareness of the creative arts. This quality event provides cultural enrichment to all ages in a fun and festive environment!
