Huron Township Rotary‘s – 5th Annual Southeast Michigan Beer Festival.

A FEW OF THE BREWERIES & WINERIES BEING SHOWCASED-MORE TO BE LISTED :
Brew Detroit, Three Floyds, Austin Brothers, The Mitten Brewing, Blakes, Shorts, Atwater, Bells, Sam Adams, Founders, St. Ambrose (Meads), New Holland, Keweenaw, Angry Orchard, North Coast, Dogfish Head, Upper Hand, Eastern Market Brewing, Jolly Pumpkin………………….

This fundraising event will feature a large variety of craft beers you can choose from for sampling along with select wines. Iron Mike’s is New Boston’s preferred local food vendor, along with New Boston’s own DJ Scott for music, we will have fun games, raffles and more.

Items that are accepted include:

  • household paints, stains, dyes
  • floor care items, furniture polish, bathroom cleaners
  • lawn and garden chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers
  • antifreeze, motor oil, gasoline
  • automotive batteries, dry cell batteries, propane tanks
  • old computers, printers, scanners, TV’s, cell phones, fax machines
  • mercury containing thermometers, thermostats and elemental mercury
  • fluorescent light bulbs (standard and compact)
  • smoke detectors, fire extinguishers
  • Pharmaceutical Waste (Non -controlled Substances only)
  • CRT televisions and monitors

Items that are not accepted include:

  • commercial waste, industrial waste
  • ammunition, explosives
  • 55-gallon drums
  • radioactive materials
  • unknown, unlabeled waste
  • shock sensitive materials
  • household trash
  • appliances

Residents are encouraged to bring in mercury fever thermometers for disposal. Mercury is a toxic substance and can cause serious health effects if released into a home or the environment. For more information, please contact Wayne County’s Resource Recovery Coordinator at (734) 326-3936.
