The Wayne County Lightfest is a magical five-mile stretch of Hines Park, displaying nearly 50 animated themed displays and more than 100,000 lights.

The Lightfest will be open Wednesday – Sunday from Thursday, November 20, 2025 until Sunday, December 24, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. The Lightfest will be closed Monday and Tuesday evenings. There will be two bonus days the LightFest will be open on Monday, December 22 and Tuesday, December 23!

Lightfest Fees
– Cars $5.00 cash
– Commercial van/RV/limo $20.00 cash
– Mini-Bus (20 passenger) $25.00 cash
– Bus (40+ passenger) $50.00 cash —

The Blitzen the Dotte Fun Run/Walk has been a fall tradition for 16 years. Thousands of runners and walkers have participated in this fun November event over the years to help raise money for the youth rowing programs sponsored by the Wyandotte Boat Club.

Wear your most festive running gear and enjoy this exciting annual event before the 82nd Annual Wyandotte Christmas Parade!

Event options:

  • Start time 9am – 5k run/walk at the corner of Biddle and Pine
  • Start time 8:30 am – “Little Reindeer” 1/4 Mile Run for Kids, Start and finish location is behind Wyandotte Boat Club

The parade begins at Northline near the Police/Court Building and travels south along Biddle Avenue, ending at Eureka Avenue. The event typically lasts about an hour and concludes with the arrival of Santa Claus!

Bundle up, bring your family and friends, and enjoy a morning filled with holiday cheer in the heart of downtown Wyandotte.

Food Truck & Vendor Festival from 9 am – 1 pm
The festival will feature a variety of food trucks and local vendors, offering plenty of great options before, during, and after the parade.

Trenton Fall into Skating! @ Kennedy Ice Rink
