Downriver Butterflies Fall Plant Swap

*NO sales allowed. This is a free event*

We will be trading out of the trunks of our cars. People normally bring a wagon or cart to go from car to car. You can also bring a folding table to set your plants on, or set them directly on the ground next to your vehicle.

*Label your plants and seeds. You can recycle containers, use plastic bags, zipper bags, old milk cartons, cottage cheese, yogurt or other plastic containers, or save the small pots from the annuals and perennials you purchase.

Some people just bring things to give away and aren’t really looking for anything in particular. People will tell you whether they are just offering or if they are looking to trade. Most gardeners are very generous and bring plenty of things with them. Newbies are welcome to come and take a look around. Please be sure to ask whether people are trading or offering with nothing in exchange.
