Wayne County Community College District

Discover Downriver is proud to be partnered with a staple in the Downriver community like Wayne County Community College District. Located on approximately 100 acres of farmland and woods at 21000 Northline Road in Taylor, Michigan, the Downriver Campus was built in 1978, and includes a 7-acre woodland preserve with a winding path used for nature walks by students, faculty, staff and residents of the surrounding community.

The Downriver Campus is home to WCCCD’s Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center (EPAC) and the Michigan Institute for Public Safety Education (MIPSE).

We are pleased to announce that the District will be building a New Horticultural Center on-site, where we will be offering two new programs in Landscape Management and Fruit and Vegetable Crop Management in partnership with Michigan State University’s Institute of Agricultural Technology.
