The Allen Park Farmer’s Market will be moving to a new location this year. It will be on the old
movie theater site at Philomene and Park Avenue, just a few blocks north of the current site.
Stroll through stalls of seasonal fruits and vegetables and talk with the farmers who picked the produce that very morning.
The DDA market brings the farm right to Allen Park and to your tables by providing a selection of fresh fruits and veggies and much much more.

This annual race is not just about running; it’s a celebration of Detroit’s vibrant sports culture and a commitment to promoting health and wellness within our community. The event kicks off at Comerica Park, where participants will embark on a scenic route through the Brush Park neighborhood, encircling the iconic Ford Field before returning to conclude at Comerica Park. Runners can look forward to a fantastic experience, including a victory lap around the Comerica Park field!

St. Vincent de Paul trucks may be in the City Hall parking lot for donations on both days, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (no mattresses or entertainment centers). FREE maps of sale addresses will be available both days at the City Hall parking lot.

Join us for a heartwarming community event to support our local foster children! We are hosting a Clothing Drive where gently used items will be donated to help provide essential clothing and resources for foster youth in our area. This event is a chance to raise awareness and offer assistance to children who need our help and support.
At Downriver Foster Closet, children in foster care can shop completely free of charge and find something to call their own. Let’s Come together as a community to make a difference for our foster children. Your participation and donations will help create a brighter future for those who need it the most.
