Our market is a Sunday destination providing an important link for our community to local agriculture and fresh healthy produce. We are weekly June 1 – October 26, 2025, 11 am – 3 pm plus a fun November 23, 2025, Holiday Market, 11 am – 3 pm.

Weekends in October experience a rotating array of Fall events such as Pony Rides, Miniature Train Rides, Boo Barn and more!
Runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The Allen Park Farmer’s Market will be moving to a new location this year. It will be on the old
movie theater site at Philomene and Park Avenue, just a few blocks north of the current site.
Stroll through stalls of seasonal fruits and vegetables and talk with the farmers who picked the produce that very morning.
The DDA market brings the farm right to Allen Park and to your tables by providing a selection of fresh fruits and veggies and much much more.

The streets of Grosse Ile come alive with a kaleidoscope of hues, as residents and visitors alike don their brightest red attire to participate in the festivities.
The centerpiece of Paint the Town Red is a lively parade that begins at 4:30 pm that winds its way through the heart of Grosse Ile. Led by marching bands, colorful floats, and spirited community groups, the parade delights spectators of all ages with its dazzling displays and infectious energy.
Following the parade, the festivities continue with a variety of activities and entertainment options scattered throughout the island. Local vendors line the streets, offering an eclectic array of arts and crafts, delicious food and drinks, and unique merchandise for attendees to peruse and enjoy.

Hey families! Need a costume for your little goblins or princesses?
Bring in new or gently used children’s costumes to the Downriver Family YMCA by October 8th and pick up a fun Halloween outfit on October 10th, 5–7 PM.
