Veteran-owned logistics company providing transportation, warehousing, and consolidation services. Since 2001, CMAC has risen to industry leadership and continues to grow at a fast pace. We are currently looking to fill a position in our maintenance department as a on our midnight shift (11:30 pm-8 am Sun-Thurs.)
Interested candidates will also be eligible for our Diesel Technician Apprenticeship program (certain criteria must be met within 90 days/reliability/attendance, etc.)
Job Description:
The duties of a Shop Assistant consist of vehicle inspections and fueling as well as assisting technicians and light cleaning. Candidate must be able to work in various weather elements outdoors.
Major Responsibilities:
‣ Activate fuel pumps and fill fuel tanks of vehicles with diesel fuel to specified levels
‣ Account for fuel transactions within the facility
‣ Maintain Company equipment in a clean, functional & safe manner
‣ Work as a strong team player in a fast-paced environment
We are looking for someone who:
‣ Has effective communication skill, on the phone and in-person
‣ Demonstrates strong organizational skills
‣ Is well-spoken, a problem solver and can demonstrate good judgment
‣ Has the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced professional setting
‣ Must possess a valid drivers license
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
