The Downriver community has been the recipient of the Petri family’s bicycle services since 1946. With great products and smiles this family has always been there for us….and now it’s our turn to step up for them.

Recently, Mrs. Debbie Petri was diagnosed with brain cancer. We all understand the difficult road that this family now undertakes. As a community, we’d like to help them pedal up this hill and feel the love and appreciation we hold for them.

Downriver Cycling Club invites you to join us for a benefit “Ride for Debbie.”

We’ll launch from Huroc Park in Flat Rock. The route will consist of 12 miles of local bike paths. We’ll assume a moderate pace and ensure that no rider is dropped. Join us for the ride. All bikes and riders are welcome.

Each paid rider will be given a Brain Cancer Awareness ribbon to wear in support of Debbie. Can’t make the ride? Please consider registering anyway to show your support and help the family through this difficult time. Thank you!
