Security Technician

Seeking dependable and motivated Security Technicians to join our field operations team.
Position Summary
The Security Technician installs, configures, and maintains access control, CCTV, and alarm systems. This position requires field work, problem-solving, and client communication. Candidates should be comfortable working independently and in small crews.
Key Responsibilities
– Install and configure security hardware (cameras, locks, sensors, controllers).
– Run and terminate structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/fiber).
– Test and troubleshoot system faults.
– Program video management and access control systems.
– Conduct site surveys and document completed work.
– Ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.
– Provide customer support and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 1–3 years of experience in low-voltage, security, or IT networking (preferred).
* Familiarity with Avigilon, ACRE, Hiyka, or similar systems (preferred).
* Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
*Basic understanding of IP networks and switch configuration.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
* Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and professional demeanor.
