The Fort Street Cruise is an annual event which takes place through several Downriver communities.
People with vintage, classic, custom, modern muscle, exotics, tuners, tricked-out, or otherwise interesting cars cruise through the main thoroughfare of Fort St (M-85). The cruise stretches between Southfield Rd. and Sibley Rd, passing through Lincoln Park, Southgate, Wyandotte, and Riverview.
Many cars and crowds will also gather the evening before for an unofficial kickoff.

The Downriver Senior Olympics is a multi-city organization that brings together the seniors of the 18 Downriver communities. For one week each summer the Seniors of the Downriver area compete to take home the Gold, Silver or Bronze in the Olympic Games.
Participants must be signed up by June 30th.
