Join us for our biggest annual event, Pancakes with the Easter Bunny!

This is our biggest and most popular event that has been going on for well over a decade. Come visit our historic fire station and enjoy breakfast! This is a free event but donations are accepted. Our pancake breakfast provides pancakes, sausage, and beverages. Either before or after breakfast be sure to get a picture with the Easter Bunny. Check out our fire trucks and visit with your Trenton Firefighters!

Register in person at the Community Center. Cost $8.00 per person. Seating is limited, register today!

At 10:30 am April 1st join us for the Easter Egg Hunt in Civic Park. This event is free and open to children 10 years and under, no registration required.

This event is for individuals who have Autism, sensory issues and other special needs. Families and caretakers welcome.

We will have a slow paced sensory friendly egg gathering, crafts, bunny’s and other activities inside the event center.

If weather permits some activity may be outside.

This event is free and open to children 10 years and under, no registration required.

The 2023 Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Community Park on Gibraltar Road in Flat Rock.  It is presented by Flat Rock Our Hometown and Flat Rock Parks and Recreation Department. This year’s event will run from Noon to 2:30 p.m.

The Easter Egg Hunt and Marshmallow drop is FREE and open to the public with no registration is required.

Here are the times and age groups:

12:00 arrival time

12:15 marshmallow drop 6-9 Years Old

12:45 egg hunt 0-3 Years Old

1:15 egg hunt 4-5 Years Old

1:45 marshmallow drop 10 Years and older

2:30 end time

There will be special Golden Eggs that will have special prizes from area businesses.

The Easter Bunny and the goodie bags will be in the warming building.   Parents should bring their own cameras.

Parking will be available at Flat Rock High School or Flat Rock Public Library. The city hall parking lot will be closed so the Flat Rock Fire Department can display their truck.

Restrooms will be available at the city’s warming building.

This event is presented by City of Flat Rock Community Center and Flat Rock Out Hometown.

PRESENTING DOWNRIVER’S FIRST AND ONLY ADULT EASTER EGG HUNT!  Limited number of tickets will be sold. Preregister today.

Each Easter egg will be filled with candy and some eggs will also hold tickets to claim prizes from our wonderful local businesses.  This event will feature food trucks, live music, and will have alcohol available for purchase…..

For kids up to age 12 – Eggs will be empty but turn them in for a goody bag! Everyone gets a bag!

Some bags may contain a ticket for a special Prize!

Join us in the warm community center after for a puppet show (1:30 pm) and crafts!

The Marshmallow Drop at Elizabeth Park will take place on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 9:00 AM.

A blizzard of marshmallows will fill the sky as they tumble from the Easter Bunny’s helicopter at the Marshmallow Drop!

***Each child only needs one marshmallow to get a prize at this holiday classic***

There are three drops at the Marshmallow Drop:
Ages 4 and younger
Ages 5-8
Ages 9 and older

> Breakfast 9:00 – 11:00am
> Basket & Bike Raffle @ 11:00am
> Marshmallow Drop 1:00pm at Pavilion

> $5/person (3 and under are free) Tickets include one bike raffle ticket and one basket raffle ticket
