Join us for the new 10K for the 10th anniversary of the Blue Ribbon Run. The old favorites of the non competitive Family 5K bike ride are back again this year. For those with energy left after the Bike ride, please consider the competitive 5K run/walk. All registrants will receive a t shirt.
- There is also the 5K Bike Ride and 10K run/walk combo
- Proceeds from this event help support the Trenton Exchange club in their efforts to help fight child abuse.
5K Bike Ride – 8:00am start time. 5K competitive run/walk will start at 8:45 This years course will include the hill (2 times). Hill is OPTIONAL in the competitive run/walk and NO HILL in the non-competitive walk OR THE BIKE RIDE!
No dogs or strollers on the hill. Awards to 1st Male and Female, Overall and Masters.
Age groups 2 deep: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and up.

Oct17Sat2026 We’re one of the few truly international marathon courses in the world! A true showcase of Detroit, the course features iconic neighborhoods like the historic Woodbridge, the District Detroit, Eastern Market, the Dequindre Cut and a finish line at the foot of Campus Martius.
Related StoriesWith a wave start, participants are sent off at three-minute intervals beginning at 7 a.m., which eases congestion in those early miles. Groups are based on the projected pace indicated on the registration form, so an accurate response is necessary.

Wear your most festive running gear and enjoy this exciting annual event before the 83rd Annual Wyandotte Christmas Parade!
Event options for Nov. 21st starting at 8:30 am:
– 5k run / walk: Start time 9am at the corner of Biddle and Pine
– “Little Reindeer” 1/4 Mile Run for Kids: Start time 8:30am. Start and finish location is behind Wyandotte Boat Club

Dec2Wed2026 Join us at Joe’s Hamburgers for our annual Run the Lights of Wyandotte. We’ll be running through downtown and neighborhood streets while the Christmas lights are up, making this one of our favorite runs of the year.
Related StoriesThere will be two distance options: 4 miles or 7 miles, allowing runners to choose what best fits their goals.
Please note that winter weather can be unpredictable, so be sure to dress warm and appropriately for the conditions.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES:
– Headlamps are necessary.
– While much of the route is lit by street lights and holiday lights, there are several darker sections.
– Illuminated running vests are strongly recommended for visibility on all winter runs.
– After the run, we’ll head back to Joe’s Hamburgers for dinner and drinks.
Don’t miss this festive winter run—great lights, great miles, and great food to finish it off.
