The Running To Honor 5K is a timed, family friendly walk (or run) focused on keeping the memory of our Fallen Soldiers & Veterans alive and reminding others that Freedom is never free. The start time of the 5K walk (or run) is 8:00 AM in front of the Sheridan Pavilion. The Kids .5K will start at 7:30 AM.
The theme this year is the Afghanistan War. The Afghanistan War lasted from 2001 to 2021. This is a fundraiser hosted by St. John’s Lutheran School. We are a “faith-based” school. This means that Jesus is at the center of everything that is taught. Not only do we learn about Jesus during daily religion time, but He is at the core of our curriculum and discipline. Our school mission statement is: “St. John’s Lutheran School supports families in the development of solid Christian character and skills for life-long excellence.” It is our hope and prayer that every child who walks through our doors will someday walk through God’s heavenly door. All proceeds from the race will directly benefit St. John’s Lutheran School.

Happy Spring to our past runners and walkers and to our new runners, walkers, and bike riders.
