Happy Howl-oween! It’s time to get this party startled! Our calendar is filled with Downriver Halloween activities that are sure to be a SPOOKTACULAR good time!

Admission is free.
Explore the decorated museum and learn about funerary processes and mourning customs. See historic embalming equipment, hair jewelry, and a mourning dress, and discover what Halloween parties were like over 100 years ago. The entire museum will be open for tours, with volunteers onsite to provide information. The gift shop will also be open.
Get ready for a frightfully fun night at the Downriver Family YMCA! Bring the whole family and join us for an evening packed with Halloween fun, including:
Haunted Walk
DJ Dance Party
Games & Activities
Local Vendors
And plenty of Halloween fun and surprises!
Come dressed in your favorite costume and enjoy a fun, safe Halloween celebration with friends, family, and our Y community.

Two tours:
6:30 pm – 7:30 pm tour – no limit on number of persons

Halloween-themed family fun at the farm, make sure to grab your tickets! Cider and donuts, treats for the kids, pumpkin pie patch and visit with classic Halloween characters.
Tickets are $6 per person (1-and-under free).

Bring the whole family for a festive, hands-on afternoon of pumpkin fun. We’ll dive into the gooey, squishy ins and outs of pumpkins—scooping seeds, exploring pulp, and discovering how pumpkins grow, why they have ribs, and what’s really going on inside that tough orange shell. Expect a little mess, a lot of laughs, and plenty of “ewww!” and “whoa!” moments along the way.
- Ages: Fun for all ages, but geared toward children ages 4-14. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
- Time: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
- Cost: $5 per child, $5 per adult
- Location: Lake Erie Metropark, Marshland Museum
- Pre-registration is required by 4 p.m. the day before the program – Register Here
