Winter is very hard on our hands. This all natural sugar scrub helps to exfoliate your skin and moisturize without feeling greasy. Just keep a jar on your counter near your hand soap and rub into the back of your hands after you have washed them. Then simply rinse your hands and pat dry. Your hands will feel soft and smell nice but not feel oily.
Measure sugar into a glass bowl or jar and add most of the oil. Stir well.
I prefer mine a little dry to use on wet hands but you may like yours with the full amount.
Add 15-20 drops of essential oil. Stir well.
Suggested essential oils are lavender, orange, lemon, peppermint, or blends such as calming, citrus or uplifting.
Continue to add oil until desired consistency. If you feel it gets too wet you can add more sugar. The mixture tends to seem thick at first and then once the oil is absorbed it balances out and becomes thinner.
You can also use this scrub on your feet (peppermint is nice). You can take it in the shower for your body or even use on your lips!
